Our Story · Since 1907

Stafford's heritage golf club, since 1907.

A 9-hole parkland course designed to play eighteen — with PGA-led coaching, a proper clubhouse, and a welcome that's been here a lot longer than most of the courses in the county.

Our Story

The same nine holes, played since 1907.

Founded in 1907 and laid into Staffordshire parkland — nine holes designed to play eighteen, under the silhouette of Stafford Castle. Same routing, same view, same welcome.

What's grown up around the course is just as much a part of the club: a PGA Fellow Professional, an indoor studio with a simulator and FlightScope, a clubhouse open to anyone who walks in. The course came first. The welcome followed.

"We welcome all types of golfers, as well as non-golfers wanting to use our clubhouse." — The Castle Golf & Leisure
Come See For Yourself

All welcome. Always have been.
