The Tees

Choosing the right tees is critically important because it is not just about lengthening the hole, but also the size of the landing area and the severity of adjecent hazards. As a result, a golfer most not only consider their driving length, but also shot dispersion patterns.

The Purple Tees

The Purple Tees are for golfers capable of accurately driving the ball at least 200 yards

carry and at least an average driving distance of 235 yards. In addition, the landing area is typically half of that from yellow/blue tees and adjacent to more challenging rough that has real bite or other hazards. With a course rating of 71.7 and a slope of 124, a scratch golfer shooting par is a good score! Although we allow any golfer to play from these tees provided that they can keep pace, they are only recommended for low handicappers.

The Blue Tees

The Blue Tees offer a good and fair challenge for the bogey golfer that will force you to use all the clubs in your bag and test your ability on various shots. These tees are for golfers that can carry the ball at least 150 yards and with a total driving distance of around 200 yards. In addition, the landing areas are wider and surrounded by more friendly hazards. For most male golfers will find these tees a fair and enjoyable challenge.

The Orange Tees

The Orange Tees are commonly very forward and out in the open and really for golfers that can carry the ball 100 yards and overall 150 yards. These tees are great for shorter hitters, females and beginners. However, don't be fooled, for female scratch golfers, shooting par is a real challenge.

The Greens

At first glance, the greens are large and very receptive giving all golfers a fair chance holding the green. We are currently in the process of introducing aprons to give golfers the opportunity a better chance of hitting short and rolling the ball on the green (links-style of golf).

In terms of putting, the greens have gone through a bad patch. However we have recently made a major investment into the greens and changed their maintenance schedule. As result, these greens a dead good now, true with a bit of speed and will become amazing!
